నిర్మల్ చరిత్ర

1600 - 1650 మధ్య కాలంలో భద్రాచలం తహశీల్దారుగా ఉన్న కంచర్ల రామదాసు (గోపన్న) భద్రాచలం నందు శ్రీ సీతారామాంజనేయ ఆలయాలు నిర్మించి, ఉత్సవాలను జరిపించుటవల్ల కుతుబ్‌షాహీ ఖజాన ఖర్చుపెట్టినందున, అప్పటి గోల్కొండ నవాబు తానీషా శ్రీ రామదాసును చెరసాల లో పెట్టించిరి. శ్రీ రామదాసుకు సన్నిహితుడైన వెలమ దలవాయి నిమ్మనాయుడు మరి కొందరు, తానీషాతో చేయి కలిపి కుట్రపన్నిన వెలమ భూస్వాముల ధ్రోహనికి విసుగెత్తి, పాల్వంచ, భద్రాచలం జమీందారులకు భూమి పన్ను చెల్లించు తగాధాలో మాట కలిసిరాక నిమ్మనాయుడు కుటుంబ సమేతుడై కొంత సిబ్బంది తో నిరాశ, నిస్పృహ లతో గోల్కొండను విడిచి భద్రాచలం తూర్పు గోదావరి నదీ తీరం వెంబడి చెన్నూరు, కోటి లింగాల నుండి మట్టి కోటగా నెలకొని ఉన్న నల్లగుటాః (ఇప్పటి ఖానాపురం సమీపమున గలది) ప్రాంతానికి మొదటి రాత్రికే చేరుకున్నాడు. ఇచ్చట ఔరంగజేబు నియమించిన అప్పటి ఖిల్లాధారుతో ఆ రాత్రి పోరాడి నిమ్మనాయుడు విజయం సాధించాడు.

    Nirmal Toys are made up of locally available ‘Ponki chekka’ which is very light and flexible and can be cut into desired shape and size depending upon the toy to be made. Then various parts of toy are glued together by specially prepared glue and coated with chinta lappam, which is prepared from sawdust and boiled tamarind seeds and coated with white clay, which smoothens any ridges and depressions if any in the toys.

    The multi-faceted personality of octogenarian-Adilabadi,
    Samala Sadasiva popularly known as "Yadi Sadasiva"was born in a village called ‘Tenugu palle’ (Telugu hamlet) on May 11 1928, in Dahagam mandal of Adilabad,
    and went on to enrich Telugu literature from the age of 20. The literary forms he handled are many — creative poetry (Prabhatam in 1949, Sambasiva Satakam in 1950, Nireekshanam in 1952, Viswamitram and Sakhinama, all of which are now collected in an anthology entitled Sadasiva Kavyasudha, 2002), novels (Apashriti, 1952), historiography (Urdu Sahitya Charitra in 1963 and Parsi Kavula Prasakti in 1975), biography (Mirza Ghalib, 1969), translation (Amjad Rubayeelu in 1963, Moulana Rumee Masnavi in 1967, Kesava Sut in 1970), Hindustani music (Malaya Marutalu in 2001, Sangeeta Sikharalu in 2006), and memoirs (Yadi, 2005).
